Book a party!

We offer two birthday party package options - TWO hours for a $150 deposit or THREE hours for a $200 deposit.
The deposit is paid on the day of booking. This nonrefundable deposit holds your date and time and covers up to eight children (between the ages of 13 months through 17 years) to be admitted to the museum (10 children for museum members.) Admission for additional children, entertainment, decorations, and food charges is to be paid by the end of you party time slot.

Birthday child and guests with memberships DO count among the total number of children at the party.

Adults do not pay admission for the party package.

If booking a Saturday party, parties must be booked within the AM slot (9:30a-12:30p) or PM slot (1-4:30p.)

The party room is furnished with 4 eight foot long tables with 8 chairs each. There is an additional round table that is typically used for holding gifts or food.
The party room has one long counter (approximately 10 feet long) and one short counter (approximately 4 feet long.) There is a standard refrigerator with freezer and a microwave available for use. The refrigerator is also used by staff, so it will not be completely empty for your use. If you need a lot of room in the freezer or refrigerator, please let us know prior to your party so that we can accommodate you as much as possible.

You are welcome to customize your party as long as it follows the guidelines below, but keep in mind that the main entertainment is the museum itself and the party room is mostly used for eating and opening gifts.

Notes:

Members are allowed 10 children with the deposit. Additional children are $9 each.

Non-members are allowed 8 children with the deposit. Additional children are $10 each.

All adults are free for birthday parties.

Children must be supervised at all times.

Party room must be cleared of personal items by the end of the scheduled party time.

Birthday Parties Include:

  • Admission to the museum all day (just have your guests check in prior to playing by having the children’s hands stamped.)

  • Party Room for 2 hours or 3 hours, depending on booking

  • Table Covers (blue, yellow, green, or pink)

  • Clean Up

What’s allowed:

  • Your own decorations

  • Your own food and drinks (nothing alcoholic.) You may also have food delivered.

  • Set up 30 minutes prior to party time

  • Games

  • Photographer/entertainment (please check with museum staff if wanting them to enter the museum space)

  • Attaching items to windows, counters, and backdrop frames

What’s not allowed:

  • Confetti – this includes balloons with confetti in them

  • Alcohol

  • Attaching items to walls

  • Smash cakes without drop cloth
