Join us in the sixth annual Trick or Trot fun run at the Baraboo Children’s Museum!
This event will be held on October 31, 2026 at 10am.
All proceeds from this fundraiser event go directly back to the museum for upkeep and general operating costs.
Things to know:
Each pre-registered participant will receive a t-shirt, goody bag, and participation ribbon. Preregistration ends on October 10th. After this date, registrants will not receive a shirt.
Run starts at 10am. This is NOT a timed run.
All aspects of this event will be held on the west side of the fairgrounds. Please enter the fairgrounds from Washington Avenue. There will be signs and volunteers to direct you where to go.
There will be refreshments at the end of the run for participants.
Cost is $10 per registered runner. Parents may run with their children for no additional cost (but donations are always appreciated!)
Museum admission is NOT included with the cost of the run. If you do not have a membership, standard admission applies if you wish to visit the museum.
In addition to the run, there will be crafts and games in the Commercial Building from 9-11am and Trunk or Treating outside of the Commercial Building from 9:30-11am.
NEW THIS YEAR:
BOO-ster Challenge - increase the challenge for your kiddo to raise extra funds by asking their neighbors, friends, and family to sponsor their run. Raise an additional $50 and receive an extra prize. The person to raise the most funds will receive additional prizes AND a Baraboo Children’s Museum Hoodie!
Shout Out - Give your little runner an extra boost of confidence by sponsoring a shout out. Either a verbal shout out by volunteers before the race begins or a sign posted along the run route.
Costume Contest- At the end of the event, we will hold a costume contest for cutest, funniest, most unique/creative, and group costumes. Prizes for the winner of each category.
